Focused Trainings

In addition to our full battery of Sales, Tech, Business, and Industry Intel breakout sessions, we are also happy to host more focused andbrand-specific trainings. More detailed information will be posted as soon as it is available.

For Giant Retailer specific trainings, please contact your sales rep for more details.

Shimano Tech Sessions

Presented by Shimano Tech Reps

At CABDA, Shimano will host an interactive, hands-on training experience built around four dedicated tech stations integrated directly into their booth. These stations will run set clinic times twice per day per topic, with no advance sign-up required, making it easy for attendees to jump in as schedules allow.

In addition, the Shimano tech area will be staffed throughout the show for informal “Ask a Shimano Tech Rep” conversations, complete with parts on hand for quick demos and impromptu mini-clinics.

Led by Shimano’s experienced technical staff, these sessions are designed to deliver practical, shop-ready knowledge that mechanics can immediately apply on the service bench back home.

SCHEDULE & MORE

Giant Retailer Training

Presented by Giant / LIV

The Giant Retailer Academy sessions at CABDA are designed to support Giant dealers with timely insights, best practices, and practical guidance for today’s retail environment.

This training will focus on strengthening the relationship between the sales floor and service department, improving in-store execution, and helping retailers get the most out of their partnership with Giant.

Attendees can expect a combination of product knowledge, operational perspective, and retailer-focused discussion aimed at improving efficiency, customer experience, and overall shop performance.

E-Bike Diagnosis

Presented by Micromobility Connect

Prepare for a practical, no-nonsense look at how e-bike service can either drain a shop’s time—or become a reliable profit center. This session combines the business case for saying “yes” to e-bike service with proven diagnostic workflows that reduce guesswork, comebacks, and wasted labor.

Attendees will learn how clear policies, good processes, and faster troubleshooting can build customer trust, improve service efficiency, and unlock new revenue opportunities without overwhelming the service department.

Professional Bike Fitting

Presented by Master Bike Fitters

The bike fitting sessions at CABDA deliver a well-rounded look at how fit drives rider comfort, performance, and long-term shop profitability. Spanning practical, hands-on techniques and higher-level concepts, these sessions explore everything from observation-based fitting methods and challenging anatomical cases to the psychology of rider comfort and the critical foot-to-shoe interface.

Designed for shops at every stage—whether you’re offering basic fits or building a premium service—the bike fitting track focuses on delivering better rider outcomes while turning fit into a scalable, high-value revenue engine that strengthens customer trust and loyalty.
